I had a portrait session with these two love birds to cerebrate their 50th anniversary! We met at the Corolla Village Road beach access in Corolla, NC this summer.
When planning what to do for their 50th, they decided the best way to celebrate so many years together was to be surrounded by family, a reminder of what they have built together!
Corolla is a great place for a family vacation. With so many HUGE houses to choose from, extended families get to spend quantity quality time together. Something that doesn't get to happen nearly enough!
I really do think that the best time spent with family is at home doing cozy things like curling up on the couch chit chatting, or playing board games by the fire. Vacation spent at a rental home is great because most of the "excursions" are in that home. Pool, hot tub, pool table, beach (for an oceanfront house). The family can spend the whole day together at home!
